The Vision for Our Youth
A focus on education and sports for the youth of West Grand Bahama and Bimini.
EducationOur Kids have lost 2 years of education due to pandemic restrictions. Many of them were just learning fundamental skills like writing, reading and math. We must take decisive action to bring them back up to speed

COMMUNITY CENTERS
ACCESSOur youth will have access to a state of the art facility equipped with computers, printers and everything kids need to get back up to speed.

TUTORINGTeachers will tutor our kids in various subjects in person and via video conference.

SUPPORTOur children will have full access to equipment and supplies at the community center. Kids will be able to use printers to to print homework

WE WANT TO TEACH YOU HOW TO OWN THE BOAT
BOATS AND EQUIPMENT FOR FISHERMEN
We will purchase 5 small fishing boats and compressors. Fishermen will be allowed to lease these boats at daily. They can bring back their catch to sell themselves or they can sell to the community association guaranteeing that they will make some income. Eventually these fishermen will be able to buy their own boats.

FISH FRY
A UNIQUE FISH FRY WITH OVER WATER STALLS
We will encourage a unique fish fry with over water stalls in West End. We will advocate to move the 8 Mile Rock Fish Fry back to the water side of the street.

WE WILL REINTRODUCE FESTIVALS THROUGHOUT THE CONSTITUENCY. THERE WILL BE MONTHLY FIRST FRIDAY FESTIVALS AND YEARLY FESTIVALS AND SPECIAL EVENTS TO REIGNITE OUR ECONOMY
